Our Commitment to Privacy: How Lavish Ride Protects Your Information
Lavish Ride LLC (“Lavish Ride,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates a technology-enabled
executive transportation platform headquartered in Houston, Texas. This Privacy Policy
governs how Lavish Ride collects, uses, processes, discloses, retains, and protects
personal data across all services, systems, and interactions. By accessing, booking,
arranging, or using Lavish Ride services, platforms, or communication channels, you
acknowledge and agree to this Policy.
Lavish Ride operates under a hybrid transportation model. Depending on the market
and specific Trip, services may be performed directly by Lavish Ride and/or fulfilled
through independent third-party affiliates (“Affiliates”). Lavish Ride may act as a platform
operator, dispatcher, service coordinator, and, where applicable, a direct transportation
provider. Lavish Ride retains sole authority to determine its role in any Trip, and such
determination is final and binding to the maximum extent permitted by law.

. Lavish Ride acts as the data controller for personal data processed through its
platform, except where otherwise required by law.
This Privacy Policy applies to Clients (including passengers, bookers, and corporate
accounts), Affiliates and their personnel, chauffeurs, website users, mobile application
users, and all individuals interacting with Lavish Ride through communication channels.
It governs all personal data collected through Lavish Ride’s website, booking systems,
affiliate systems, mobile applications, integrations, and communications.
Lavish Ride collects personal data necessary for platform operation, service delivery,
enforcement, and optimization. This may include Client data such as name, phone
number, email, pickup and drop-off details, travel information, and service instructions;
Affiliate and chauffeur data including identity, licenses, permits, insurance, and vehicle
details; Trip and operational data including timestamps, routing, service events, and
performance metrics; GPS and location data including real-time and historical
positioning; device and system data including IP address, device identifiers, and usage
behavior; communication data including calls, messages, emails, and support
interactions; and payment-related data processed through third-party providers such as
Stripe. Lavish Ride does not store full card numbers or banking credentials.
All data is collected directly from users, through platform activity, via Affiliates, through
third-party integrations, and automatically through system tracking. Lavish Ride does
not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of user-provided data.
Lavish Ride processes data for core operational purposes, including service execution,
dispatch coordination, Trip monitoring, billing, payouts, fraud detection, identity
verification, platform optimization, analytics, legal compliance, dispute resolution,
enforcement of contractual rights, and protection of platform integrity. Processing is
based on contractual necessity, legitimate business interests, legal obligations, and user
consent where required.
Lavish Ride utilizes GPS and system-generated data to support dispatch, operational
control, service validation, and dispute resolution. Tracking may begin prior to pickup
based on system logic and may continue after Trip completion for operational
verification. While such data is critical to platform operations, Lavish Ride does not
guarantee absolute accuracy of GPS, routing, or timing data, and such data should be
interpreted as operational indicators rather than exact measurements.
Location Data Collection
Lavish Ride collects precise GPS location data from both passengers and chauffeurs through the mobile application. The following describes how and when location data is collected for each user type:
Chauffeurs: Lavish Ride collects precise, continuous background location data from chauffeurs. This means location is collected even when the app is not actively in use or the screen is off. Background location is required to enable real-time dispatch, trip assignment, route monitoring, navigation assistance, and operational verification.
Passengers: Lavish Ride collects precise location data from passengers while the app is in use (foreground) to facilitate pickup coordination, real-time trip tracking, and drop-off confirmation. Passenger location may also be collected in the background during an active trip to ensure accurate service delivery and safety monitoring.
Purpose of Location Collection: Location data is used exclusively for:
- Trip dispatch and coordination
- Real-time navigation and routing
- Pickup and drop-off verification
- Safety monitoring during active trips
- Dispute resolution and service validation
- Platform operational analytics
Location data is never used for advertising, sold to third parties, or shared beyond what is necessary for the purposes stated above.
User Consent: Users will be prompted within the app to grant location permissions. Precise location access is required for full app functionality. Chauffeurs must grant background location access to receive trip assignments and operate on the platform. Passengers who deny background location access may experience limited trip-tracking features during active rides.
Data Retention: Location data is retained only as long as necessary for operational, legal, and dispute resolution purposes, in accordance with the retention terms described in this Policy.
CRITICAL DATA CONTROL CLAUSE:
All platform-generated data, including but not limited to GPS logs, timestamps,
communication records, dispatch activity, and system events, constitutes the official
operational record of each Trip. Lavish Ride reserves the right to rely on such data as
primary and controlling evidence in determining service completion, payment eligibility,
dispute outcomes, enforcement actions, and contractual compliance. To the maximum
extent permitted by law, Lavish Ride’s interpretation of such data shall govern.
Lavish Ride may use automated systems and algorithmic decision-making to assign
Trips, evaluate performance, detect fraud, prioritize Affiliates, and manage operational
workflows. Such decisions may be made without human intervention, and Lavish Ride
does not guarantee specific outcomes, fairness interpretations, or uninterrupted system
performance.
Lavish Ride reserves the right to monitor, audit, and analyze all platform activity,
including booking behavior, communication patterns, GPS consistency, pricing
anomalies, and system interactions. Any attempt to manipulate, bypass, or exploit
platform systems may result in immediate enforcement action, including account
restriction, payment withholding, suspension, or termination.
Access to services, Trip assignments, payments, and platform features may depend on
the availability, accuracy, and completeness of system data. Where data is incomplete,
inconsistent, disputed, or unavailable, Lavish Ride reserves the right to delay, adjust, or
deny service, access, or payment until the matter is resolved.
AFFILIATE DATA RESTRICTION CLAUSE:
All Client and Trip-related data accessed through the Lavish Ride platform is
confidential and may only be used for the purpose of completing assigned services.
Affiliates and chauffeurs are strictly prohibited from storing, exporting, reusing, or
utilizing such data outside the platform, including through personal devices, messaging
applications, or offline systems. Any unauthorized use constitutes a violation subject to
enforcement action.
Personal data may be shared with Clients, Affiliates, payment processors, technology
providers, communication systems, and regulatory authorities where necessary for
service execution, payment processing, legal compliance, or safety purposes. Lavish
Ride does not sell personal data.
Due to the nature of global operations, data may be transferred across jurisdictions.
Lavish Ride does not guarantee equivalent data protection standards in all locations but
processes such transfers as necessary for contractual and operational purposes.
Lavish Ride relies on third-party systems including payment processors, GPS providers,
and communication platforms. Lavish Ride is not liable for failures, inaccuracies, or
interruptions caused by such third-party systems.
Lavish Ride actively monitors for fraud, abuse, and policy violations. Suspicious activity,
including irregular booking behavior, communication anomalies, or GPS
inconsistencies, may result in account restriction, payment withholding, investigation, or
termination.
Personal data is retained only as long as necessary for operations, legal compliance,
dispute resolution, and enforcement. However, Lavish Ride may retain data beyond
standard retention periods where necessary to protect legal rights, resolve disputes,
prevent fraud, or comply with regulatory obligations.
Lavish Ride implements commercially reasonable safeguards to protect personal data
but does not guarantee absolute security.
Where applicable, individuals may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of
their data, subject to legal, contractual, and enforcement limitations. Lavish Ride
reserves the right to refuse or limit such requests where necessary to comply with legal
obligations, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, or protect operational integrity.
Lavish Ride’s platform and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Lavish Ride makes no warranties regarding system availability, accuracy, reliability, or
uninterrupted performance.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lavish Ride shall not be liable for data
inaccuracies, system failures, third-party disruptions, or indirect damages arising from
the use of its platform or services.
In the event of a data security incident, Lavish Ride may investigate, mitigate, and
provide notifications where required by applicable law.
Lavish Ride does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13.
Where bookings are made on behalf of minors, the responsible adult assumes full
responsibility for such use and compliance with this Policy.
Lavish Ride reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use
of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
Lavish Ride retains the right to interpret, apply, and enforce this Policy in accordance
with applicable law. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions
shall remain in effect. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lavish Ride’s
determinations under this Policy are final and binding.
